This shock solved several issues on my wife Peggy’s 2017 F3L. The product stops the lid from opening to the “click” mechanism that holds it open. You have to lift it, take your other hand and disengage the “click” mechanism and hold it open to close the trunk lid. This product is easy to install (took less that 15 mins), it’s made out of quality materials, very good instructions. It also aligns the lid with the trunk so it’s easier to close! Good job!
